Police arrested accused thief

BJP leader Devendra Irani, going from Indore in Madhya Pradesh to Haridwar, faced a shocking incident of theft in Rishikesh Express. He went on a religious journey with the bone urn of his late mother. But as soon as the train reached close to Agra station, a vicious thief tried to clean his hands on his bone urn.

As soon as Devendra Irani’s eyes fell on the suspect, he immediately caught him. The thief made noise to escape and tried to escape, but the vigilant passengers present in the compartment helped the leader and caught the accused on the spot.

Passengers’ mobiles and purse were missing in the coach

When the accused caught on this was strictly questioned, the stolen goods were recovered from him.

During interrogation, the accused was identified as a young man named Sonu, who is a resident of Gwalior. Police investigation has revealed that Sonu has carried out the incidents of stealing passengers in Rishikesh Express several times before.

Police filed a case against accused

Agra GRP has registered a case against the accused under the relevant sections and arrested him. The police is also investigating whether he is associated with a gang or alone committing incidents.
