Skill India Mission changed the picture of the country, Chhattisgarh is making new history- CM Vishnudev Sai


Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that we are constantly working to achieve the goal of developed India developed Chhattisgarh. For this, active participation of every section of the society is necessary. Chief Minister Sai was addressing the closing ceremony of World Youth Kaushal Utsav 2025 held at Rungta University in Bhilai today. He said that this event will be recorded in the heavens in history.

The CM said that the Gold Book of World Records team has certified training given to 8183 participants within a week. The institute has been awarded its certificate. He congratulated Rungta University management for this free and unprecedented event and said that the state government is determined to make the youth self -reliant and efficient.

Extension of higher education institutions during Raman Singh’s tenure

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that during the tenure of Dr. Raman Singh, higher education institutions expanded and currently 15 medical colleges, IITs, IIMs, Triple IT, CIPT, AIIMS, and Law University are working in the state.

He informed that the state government has achieved equally remarkable achievements in both education and health sectors. In the last one and a half years, concerted efforts have been made to establish good governance. Most of the services have been done online to make the government transparent, which has led to effective control over corruption and a significant increase in revenue has been recorded.

The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is a rich state with mineral wealth and to make it self -sufficient, the participation of every citizen is necessary. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji started the Skill India Mission. When this mission started, India was the 10th economy in the world – and today, India has reached fourth place in just a decade.

Highly useful for Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme

Describing the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme as very useful, the Chief Minister said that this scheme is providing economic incentives along with experience for the youth, due to which new doors of possibilities are opening for them. The Chief Minister informed that special opportunities have been ensured for the youth in the new industrial policy of the state government. There is a provision to provide grants to industries providing employment to more than one thousand local youth.

The Chief Minister appreciated private institutions, especially Rungta University and said that they are developing Chhattisgarh as a skill hub by becoming a full participant in the efforts of the state government. He congratulated the participants and the university family on this historical achievement.

Historical steps were taken towards making Chhattisgarh a skill hub at the closing ceremony of World Youth Kaushal Utsav 2025 held at Rungta University in Bhilai. In the program, 8183 youth were trained online through online medium. 25 selected participants were honored by giving citation by the Chief Minister. A joint degree program with Google, IBM and International Council was launched. An MoU was signed between Harvard and Cambridge universities. The record of training the most participants in a week was confirmed by the World Book of Records.

On this occasion, MP Vijay Baghel and MLA Rikesh Sen also addressed the program and appreciated this historic event. He said that this initiative is a revolutionary step towards making the youth globally competitive. Rungta University Vice Chancellor Santosh Rungta gave information about the activities of the university in a welcome address and said that the institute is constantly trying to make Chhattisgarh a global skill hub with the state government.

On this occasion, Divisional Commissioner S.N. Rathore, IG RG Garg, Collector Abhijeet Singh, Professor of Rungta University, subject matter experts, professors and a large number of students were present.
