On the second Monday of Sawan, Kavadis are reaching their respective destinations to offer water to Bholenath. During this time, he has been given a grand welcome at many places on the Kanwar route. If someone rained flowers, some pressed their feet, then some welcomed them by drinking bananas and juices. In many states including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, the government and administration are fully stuck for the convenience of Kanwari so that there is no problem. Camps have been built for their stay and food and drink have also been arranged. In fact, devotees walk hundreds of kilometers and walk in their villages, cities, towns and do Jalabhishek by walking in their village, city, towns and perform Jalabhishek.
On the previous day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, showing respect for the faith and dedication of the kanvadis, shouted flowers on the streets of Meerut and also wreath with helicopters in other districts of western Uttar Pradesh. During this time, the Chief Minister said that some people are trying to discredit the Kanwar Yatra and Shiva devotees, such miscreants will be exposed and will be strictly dealt with.
In Meerut, he said, ‘The miscreants have resorted to discredit this holy Kavad Yatra. We have CCTV footage of miscreants. After the end of the Kandar Yatra, we will stick their posters. Any attempt to obstruct the journey or compromise its sanctity will be dealt with strictly.
Chandausi CO Anuj Chaudhary distributed bananas
Chandausi CO Anuj Chaudhary welcomed the Kanwari on reaching Sambhal and greeted them. He distributed bananas to the kanwadis. The CO said, ‘We have set up a camp for Kanwari under the guidance of SP Sambhal. Medical assistance and fruits have been arranged for the Kanwari as they have traveled long distances on foot. On the first Monday of Sawan, everyone worshiped easily and no one had to face any kind of problem. We will ensure the same on the second Monday. CCTV cameras have been installed in all temples and adequate forces have been deployed and proper conduct will be ensured in the temple premises.

Strong security arrangements in Bulandshahr
Strict security arrangements have been made in Bulandshahr. SP Rural Tejveer Singh said, ‘All the routes of the Kandar Yatra in Bulandshahr district have been divided into zones and sectors for security, a patrolling bike has been deployed every kilometer. Police are deployed at all diversion points to manage root diversion and prevent heavy vehicles from entering. Delhi CM served food to Kanwari
CM Rekha Gupta of Delhi is served food at the Kavad camp in Dhaula Kuan, Delhi. He said, ‘I am happy that there is enthusiasm and enthusiasm in Delhi about the Kandar Yatra. Delhi minister rains flowers
Delhi’s Social Welfare Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh also gave a grand welcome to the Kanwari. He rained flowers on Kanwari at Shiva temple in Rohini Sector-20. He said that the Delhi government fully respects the faith and their feelings of the devotees. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, great arrangements have been made for the Kanwari so that they do not face any kind of trouble. The number of Kanwari passing through Delhi is in crores.
Female police officer pressed legs
A video of a female police officer surfaced in Muzaffarnagar, in which she was seen pressing the feet of Kavadis. He was praised by former UP CM and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He said that the sense of service is good if the sense behind it is good. In the video, it was seen that a female police officer is pressing the feet of Kanwari with reverence and service during her duty. The female policeman’s name is Rishika Singh and she is the CO of Fugana in Muzaffarnagar district.

Uttarakhand CM Dhami washed the feet of Kanwari
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Haridwar and participated in a program organized at Ganga Ghat near Om Bridge and welcomed and honored the feet of Shiva devotees from all over the country by washing his feet. CM Dhami had said, ‘It is my good fortune that I got an opportunity to wash the feet of Shiva devotee Kanwari and get their blessings.’
He congratulated all the administrative officials including HRDA and Haridwar Police for this successful organization. After traveling hundreds of thousand kilometers from across the country, Shiva devotees do Jalabhishek by taking Ganga water from the religious city of Haridwar.
