A shocking incident took place on Sunday (July 20) with senior BJP leader and MLA Praveen Darekar in Maharashtra. Darekar got stuck in a lift in Vasai. Which caused a stir for some time. However, due to the understanding of the workers, he was evacuated from the lift. It is being told that some workers were also present in the lift along with Darekar. After getting out of the lift, Darekar said ‘I have old enmity with the lift’.
According to the information, Praveen Darekar came to attend the self-poverty camp in Kaul Heritage City, Vasai West. Meanwhile, he got stuck in the lift. It is being told that there was a crowd in the lift in which Darekar was there and this problem arose. Many people, including Darekar, were stranded in the lift for about 20 minutes. After this, Darekar was finally taken out by breaking the door of the lift. All the people trapped in the lift are now safe.
MLA trapped in lift
BJP leader MLA Praveen Darekar today came to attend the guidance camp for the self-poverty of old and dilapidated buildings at the Apuland Grand Banquet Hall in Kaul Heritage City, Vasai. He was accompanied by Vasai MLA Sneha Dubey and Nalasopara MLA Rajan Naik. Both these MLAs were also among the people trapped in the lift.
There were more people than capacity
It is being told that the lift capacity in the Heritage City of Vasai was 10 people, but more people were present in the lift with the people who came to the camp. Praveen Darekar was going from the lift to the third floor. There were about 15 people in the lift, due to which the lift got stuck on the ground floor instead of going to the third floor. The lift was damaged due to overweight and all the people got stuck in the lift.
Lift door opened with hard work
This made the workers present there worried. They immediately ran for help. Local people and security guards opened the lift door after about 20 minutes of hard work with the help of iron rod and all were taken out safely. When Praveen Darekar came out, she was completely soaked in sweat. As soon as he came from the lift, he drank water, after which he walked three floors and went to the venue.
‘My old enmity with lift’
Such an accident has happened before with Praveen Darekar, who is considered close to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Darekar is also stuck in the lift before. This is the reason that after exiting the lift, he said that he has old enmity in the lift. At the same time, this incident stirred up the venue. Questions are being raised about security arrangements and maintenance of lifts.
