The amount of this acquisition has not been disclosed, but the company has linked it with its ‘mission to make its aspirational lifestyle accessible to everyone’.

In the 1970s and 80s, the Reliance-Kelvinator Deal became extremely popular with its tagline “The Coolest One” in India and made the first start of electric refrigeration for domestic use in the world. Reliance’s retail capacity will now give new life to this brand.
