On Friday, security forces killed six Naxalites in an encounter in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh. Police officials gave this information. He said that in the Abujhmad area of the district, security forces killed six Naxalites in an encounter. Inspector General of Police (IG) of Bastar region Sundararaj P said that on the basis of the presence of Maoists in Abujhmad area of Narayanpur district, joint parties of security forces were sent on an anti -Naxal operation.

IG P Sundararaj said that during the campaign, there was an intermittent encounter between security forces and Maoists since Friday afternoon. He said that during the search operation so far, bodies of six Naxalites, AK-47 and SLR Rifle, many other weapons, explosive materials and daily use items have been recovered from the encounter site.

The campaign against Naxalites

IG P Sundararaj said that the campaign is still going on, so more information cannot be shared to ensure the safety of the soldiers involved. He informed that after the completion of the campaign, detailed information will be given in this regard. Home Minister warns Naxalites

Home Minister Amit Shah has made it clear that by 2026, India has to be made Naxal -free. In view of this goal, the security forces keep taking action against the Naxalites. Home Minister Amit Shah has appealed to Naxalites to give up arms and surrender. He has said that there is no time left for talks. This is the most appropriate opportunity to surrender. He warned that if this opportunity was lost, its results will be fatal for the Naxalites.
