An inspirational initiative took place on Wednesday in the direction of social concern in the city. A women’s operated canteen named ‘Maa Ki Roti’ located on Station Road was inaugurated by Municipality President Nikhilkant Sahu and Vice President Devichand Rathi. This canteen will be operated by the Jai Ganga Maiya Mahila Group of the city, which aims to provide delicious and nutritious food to the public for just 50 rupees.
Food will be available at a cheaper rate
On this occasion, Municipality President Nikhilkant Sahu said that this initiative will not only provide food to the people at a cheaper rate, but will also become a great example of women empowerment. Women groups have proved their efficiency and commitment from time to time, and I am confident that they will also carry out this responsibility well.
Municipality Vice President Devichand Rathi, while wishing the women’s group, said that it is a matter of pride for the women of our city to get this opportunity. We hope that this canteen will live up to the three standards of hygiene, quality and taste.
People will get home -like food
District Vice President Hulsi Chandrakar appreciated the functionality of women groups and said that if the women group does any work with mind, then success is certain in it. ‘Mother’s bread’ will give the common man like home food, it is believed.
