Raipur Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey has left for Israel on an official visit. The tour has been aimed at studying Israel’s modern techniques and innovations in urban development, water management and smart city projects.
Mayor Mrs. Choubey “Muni World 2025 International Conference and Expo” will join the delegation of India’s mayors, where city administrators, policy-makers and urban experts from all over the world are consulting the challenges, innovations and solutions of urban life.
The yatra has been invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, and the entire travel expense is borne by the Government of Israel who symbolizes the strong diplomatic and urban cooperation between India-Israel.
Before the visit, Mayan Kumar Chatterjee, Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi, was a courtesy call from Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey, in which he was given detailed information about the proposed programs, technical subjects and urban schemes in Israel.
