CM Vishnu Dev Sai showed the green signal to 151 new vehicles, said-Chhattisgarh’s health system will now be accessible

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the state government is fully committed to expand and strengthen health services by every corner of the state. The steps taken towards reaching the trusted medical facilities to the common man are historic. The Chief Minister today flagged off 151 vehicles from his residence premises to various districts for the field health staff.

On this occasion, he said that through these vehicles, people will be able to get effective treatment on time even in remote areas of Bastar and Surguja region. This will prove to be a strong initiative towards ‘Healthy Chhattisgarh’. Effective implementation of national health programs, timely inspection and monitoring will also gain momentum.

All will be treated on time

The Chief Minister said that regular inspection from vehicles being provided for officers and field health workers working at the district and development blocks, monitoring of health camps, quick access to remote areas and timely intervention in emergency situations will be possible. This will make the operation of national health programs more effective and dynamic and will make the healthcare distribution system in the state more active, responsible and result. This initiative will work to speed up the entire health system of the state.

The Chief Minister informed that these vehicles will be provided in a phased manner to all the districts of the state. In the first phase, these vehicles are being sent to 12 districts of Bastar and Surguja divisions. He also informed that 851 new ambulance services will be started in the state soon, out of which 375 ambulances will be given for 108 emergency services, 30 ambulances for rural movable medical units and 163 Muktanjali carcasses will be given under free service.

Program of upliftment of tribal communities

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with a dedicated price for the upliftment of tribal communities. Under his guidance, 30 ambulances for special backward tribes under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Mana Yojana will also be arranged soon. The Chief Minister said that now even in a challenging time like rainy season, the state government will be able to fulfill its resolve to reach door-to-door healthcare with full readiness. He informed about the efforts being made by the state government to empower health services and reiterated continuous commitment in this direction.

Addressing the program, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that the state government is constantly working towards improving health facilities with full capacity. He informed about the efforts being made by the government to strengthen health infrastructure and sent best wishes to the field health staff for this special gift.

On this occasion, CGMSC President Deepak Messe, Waqf Board Chairman Salim Raj, Health Department Secretary Amit Kataria, Commissioner Dr. Priyanka Shukla and a large number of officers and dignitaries were present.
