To protect Nimisha Priya in Yemen Jail from death, the movement from Delhi to Sana is fast. Blood money is the last support, which can save Nimisha Priya’s life.
Nimisha Priya is accused of killing her business partner Abdo Mahdi. In this case, Nimisha has been sentenced to death. According to Yemen’s Sharia law, if Mahdi’s family agrees with blood money, then Nimisha will be released from jail.
Family agreed to give 8.5 crore rupees
Nimisha’s family has offered to give Rs 8.5 crore ($ 1 million) as a blood money. Money has also been raised, but Abdo’s family is not ready to agree about it yet.
The question is arising that why Abdo’s family is not considering it? Does Abdo Mahdi’s family find this amount less or is there any other pressure on him?
Huki rebel active throughout the case
In the Nimisha Priya case, the active of Huti rebels has become a cause of difficulties. During the hearing in the Supreme Court on Monday (July 14), the Attorney General also indicated this. The Attorney said that Huti rebels have associated it with respect.
Abdo Mahdi is not talking about the family and the rebel blood money of Huti. Therefore, this matter is not able to move forward. The government’s efforts are going on. The family is also there and the matter is going on.
To convince Huti rebels, Grand Mufti of Sunni community has camped in Kerala. Grand Mufti Abubakar Muslim has met in a closed room with the religious leader of Yemen.
That’s why there is a big obstacle in the Huki case
India is not able to save Nimisha Priya. Because Huti is active in Yemen and because of that there is no Embassy of India in the capital of Yemen. Huti’s rebels have been in oriented around Yemen and around it for the last 6 years.
The Indian Embassy is exercising to monitor this entire episode from the Riyadh of Saudi, but Huti’s relationship is not well even with Saudi. Huti considers Saudi to be the pituitary of America and keeps a front against him all the time.
