Chief Minister (CM) Dr. Mohan Yadav (Mohan )’s Dubai Investment Yatra, Lulu Group International Director Salim (Salim) M.A. There was a discussion from one-to-one meeting. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited the Business Group Lulu Group’s global experience and network, inviting the discourse for the establishment of a state-of-the-art “Food and Agricultural Principb Center” in the state, which could ensure a connectivity of fruits, vegetables, spices and grains to the global supply chain.
The meeting discussed a detailed discussion on retail trade, agricultural processing and investment in food industry in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Mr. Salim, Director of Lulu Group, to the establishment of modern retail sales centers and huge marketing centers (hypermarkets) in first and second class cities like Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur.
The meeting discussed the possibilities of fresh horticulture and agricultural product aggregation and distribution center in Indore-Nimar region. The meeting discussed the participation of Lulu Group in the field of logistics and cold chain infrastructure in collaboration with MP Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) and MP Agro, which will encourage employment and exports in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the participation of global investors like Lulu will pave the way for linking Madhya Pradesh to the global market in the food and agriculture. At the same time, the Lulu group appreciated the policies and foresight of the state government and expressed a strong desire for cooperation and investment.
