A painful accident occurred on Sunday evening in Rerua Kala village of Satna district in Madhya Pradesh. Here two sisters fell into a pit filled with water. This pit was dug for borewell. The elder sister has died in this accident, while the search for the younger sister is going on. The incident is from Rerua village of Nagaud police station area. The local administration is engaged in the rescue campaign.

According to the information, the father of the deceased Chhakku is a resident of Ahirwar Karhi. He used to work as farming by staying in his in-laws Rerua Kala’s Bhatwa Tola. On Sunday, he went to the farm with his wife and both daughters 12 -year -old Somvati and 8 -year -old Durga. Meanwhile, the parents got busy with the farm work and both the girls went towards the nearby farm Bandhan while playing. Where there was a pit of old borbel.

There was a pit of borewell full of water in the field

Local people say that there was an old borewell in the field. Who was not working for some time. It was spoiled, due to which its parts were left out and left open. Due to heavy rains, there was waterlogging in the borewell pit, due to which the pit had become fatal. Told that the pit still has to be drunk up to the waist.

Two innocents fell into the borewell pit

It is estimated that during the game, the first girl’s leg slipped, causing her to fall into the borewell. The second sister tried to save her, she also fell into the pit. When there was no option to leave, both of them got into the pit. Police was informed on the spot. Since the incident, the family members are in a bad state.

Dead body recovered, search for another continues

The body of elder sister Somavati has been recovered in the rescue operation which lasted late at night. Whereas, the search for the younger sister continues. With the help of JCB, efforts are being made to remove the pit water by making a drain. During the rescue, SDM Jitendra Verma, former MLA Kalpana Verma, District CEO Ashok Mishra, TI Ashok Pandey and administrative officers and police forces are present.
