The court dismissed the dowry harassment case and said that marriages considered holy among Hindus are in trouble due to little things. This relationship, which is considered sacred, is getting in danger due to minor controversies. A bench of Justice Nitin Sambre and Justice MM Nerlikar said, if it is not possible to have a compromise between husband and wife in the disputes related to marriage, then such weddings should be abolished soon, so that the life of the boy and the boy’s side is not worse.
In fact, in December 2023, a case of dowry harassment was registered against a person and his family. In this case, he pleaded with the court to cancel the case. At the time of hearing in the court, the couple said that they have resolved the dispute that arose between them with mutual consent. Along with this, you have also taken divorce. The woman said that she has no objection to the end of the matter. Now she wants to move forward.
Courts can cancel such cases
In this case, the court said, of course, some provisions in the Indian Penal Code and the Dowry Prohibition Act are not compromised, yet the courts can cancel such cases in the joy. In recent years, in such cases, the tendency of husband’s entire family has increased in such cases. Because of this, marital disputes need to be seen in a new way.
The court admitted, if both sides want to resolve their differences in peace, then the court’s duty is to encourage them to do so. Nowadays, marital discord on a little bit of things has taken the form of a serious problem in the society. This problem is ruining the lives of couples. Due to this, the marriage institution considered to be sacred among Hindus is in danger.

The court said, marriage is not just a social agreement. This is also a spiritual union of two souls. Many laws have been enacted in the country to make matrimonial relations good and better. However, due to their misuse, along with mental and physical harassment, economic losses and children and family members have to suffer a lot.
