CM Mohan Yadav visited BAPS Hindu Temple in Dubai


Chief Minister (CM) Dr. Mohan Yadav visited BAPS Hindu Temple on Sunday during Dubai Migration (Visit). During this time, the chief Mahant Pujya Brahmavihari Swami of the temple made Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visit the temple premises and made them aware of the characteristics of the temple. A team of officers of Madhya Pradesh was also present on the occasion.

Temple is proof of friendship

On 14 February 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the temple of BAPS Hindu (Community). The BAPS Hindu Temple is the first traditional Hindu temple in the Middle East. This is a proof of friendship between India and the UAE, which reflects the spirit of cultural inclusion, inter-religious harmony and community cooperation.

The temple is situated on 27 acres of land in the Abu Mureikha region and is built without iron or steel according to traditional Indian architecture. It uses stones and marble brought from India and other countries. The walls of this grand temple have a very subtle and attractive carvings of Vedic stories, Indian deities and vegetation. Which reflects universal values like peace, tolerance and co-existence of Hinduism.
