Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held an important meeting with the officials of JITO-Jain International Trade Organization on 14 July on the second day of Dubai Yatra. The objective of this meeting was to understand the major initiatives and priority areas of JITO in Dubai in the GCC sector, especially with the Jain business community. Also, the industrial units of Madhya Pradesh had to understand the opportunity of JITO to contribute to missions like economic empowerment, education and service.
In this meeting, it was proposed to establish the MP-JITO Investment Forum. The preamble stated that an annual joint trade forum should be held in Dubai. In this, major projects of Madhya Pradesh like logistics, industrial parks, electric vehicles, food processing, semiconductor can be displayed. This platform will form a basis for bilateral dialogue and MoU.

Connecting and global markets with Jain migrant community
The preamble said that the new logistics policy of Madhya Pradesh not only supports exporters, but also provides encouragement to infrastructure developers. Training partnerships may be established between Dubai -based skill development institutes and Global Skill Park in Madhya Pradesh. Forest district-one products like pulses, oilseeds, processed foods can be publicized with the state’s business delegations through the state business delegations and access to the Jain migrant community and access to the global markets.
Emphasis on pilot project-corporate cooperation
According to the proposal given in the meeting, Greenfield Textile Mills can be established with companies like Jain Cord, Bhilwara Energy Group. Food parks in Basai, Ujjain and Mandsaur can collaborate with textile corporates associated with Dubai -based JITO. Cleantech companies of Dubai can also be invited for pilot projects under the state’s renewable energy policy.
Strategic participation of governance
There was also a discussion in the meeting how strategic participation and cooperation between Madhya Pradesh government and JITO. It was proposed in the meeting that the Madhya Pradesh government may invite high -level dignitaries such as Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan (UAE), Sunjay Sudhir (Indian Ambassador), and senior officials of DP World. The UAE-centered trade strategy and Africa-based business opportunities can initiate sessions based on opportunities.

This partnership connects the officials of Madhya Pradesh to such investors who want to invest in large infrastructure and industrial projects. State-particular investment and information can be shared through migrant Jain entrepreneurs and professionals. Through JITO, Madhya Pradesh Non-Representative Logistics, Agricultural-business, tourism and MSME areas may be targeted agreements.
