Ukraine’s new PM Yulia and President Voldomir Jailonsky
There has been a big upset in Ukraine amidst war with Russia. President Voldomir Jailonsky has appointed Deputy PM Yulia Swiridenko as Prime Minister. Yulia has replaced her boss Dennis Shamahal. Dennis was elected Prime Minister in 2020 and was also working in this post for the last 3 years in the war.
According to Euro News, after a meeting on Monday (July 14), Voldomir Jailonsci announced the name of Yulia for the post of PM. The PM said that we have started changes on executive positions. Its effect will be seen in the coming time.
Who is Yulia, who got PM’s chair
39 -year -old Yulia is considered close to Jailonsky. Yulia entered politics after completing economics studies. In 2008, Yulia earned a graduation degree in economics from Kyiv University. Yulia is also identified as an economist in Ukraine.
In 2020, Yulia joined the President’s Office. He was also authorized by Jailonsky to talk to the US on the counted deals. Yulia also performed this work well. In the year 2021, Yulia got the Deputy PM’s chair.
Question- Why did Yulia get PM’s chair?
1. Due to the war with Russia, the government’s executive was not being reshuffled. Jenleski was not getting any new candidate to remove Dennis. Yulia fits in this case. After assuming the PM chair, Yulia’s first attempt will be to improve the relationship that is deteriorating with America. Currently, there is no Ukraine ambassador in America. Yulia will also have a role in appointing him.
