Millions of Indians who dream of going to America have suffered a big shock. The US embassy in India has issued an important warning for visa holders. The embassy said that even after the release of American visa, visa holders will continue to monitor and if anyone violates the rules, its visa can be canceled immediately and can also be expelled from the US.

Posting on the social media platform ‘X’, the embassy said, “Monitoring does not stop even after the US visa is released. We constantly ensure that visa holders are following American laws and immigration rules, if they do not do so, we can cancel their visa and send them back.”

In the last few weeks, the US embassy has issued several instructions related to visa and immigration, with the embassy on June 19 that the US visa is not a right but a “privilege” and if a law breaks, its visa can be canceled.

On 26 June, another advice said that Visa applicants will have to give clearly in all social media handles application form DS-160 used in the last five years. If any information is hidden, the visa may be rejected and there may be disqualification for the visa in the future also.

On June 28, it was warned that strict action would be taken against illegal people living in the US or visa fraudsters. Such people may have to suffer “serious criminal punishment”. It is being told that these warnings have recently surfaced in the backdrop of the Immigration Crackdown by the Trump administration at Los Angeles, California.

The embassy has also clarified that visa holders will have to follow the rules at every level while in the US, otherwise they can be extracted from the country with immediate effect.
