In Chhattisgarh, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the government is moving forward with a policy of zero tolerance on corruption. Also, strict steps are being taken against corruption. In the famous liquor scam of Rs 3200 crore during the previous rule, the Sai government has suspended 22 of the 29 Excise Officers by taking the biggest action so far.

It is being described as the biggest action of suspension in Chhattisgarh. These officials are also accused of making movable and immovable assets from illegal earnings of about Rs 88 crore by corruption between 2019 and 2023.

As soon as this was revealed, the Chhattisgarh government has suspended 22 officers without late. These include Excise Deputy Commissioners Animesh Netam, Arvind Kumar Patle, Neetu Notani, Nohar Singh Thakur, Vijay Sen Sharma. Similarly, Assistant Commissioner Excise Pramod Kumar Netam, Vikas Kumar Goswami, Naveen Pratap Singh Tomar, Rajesh Jaiswal, Manjushree Kaser, Dinkar Wasnik, Ashish Kosam, Saurabh Bakshi, Prakash Pal, Ramakrishna Mishra, Alakh Ram Kaser, Sonal Netam and District Excise Officer Mohit Kumar Jaiswal, Garibpal Singh Dardi, Nitabal Singh, Nitaban Singh Kumar, Nitaban Singh Kumar, Iqbal Ahmad Khan Khanduja includes.

Central and state agencies are investigating scams during the five -year tenure of the former government. All the convicts in the case are being sent to jail. Not only the liquor scam, the state government is also investigating cases like DMF scam, Mahadev Satta app scam and Tendupatta scam, in which the strict action is being taken against the culprits when any involvement comes to light.

In the last two years, ACB has caught more than 200 corrupt officials, which is a big example of the state government’s zero tolerance policy. Under this, purchases from Gem portal have been made mandatory, e-office system has been introduced, the path of investment through more than 350 improvements has been made corruption-free, transparent and easy, in the same order, the process of NOC has been made very simple through single window system 2.0.

Claimed on selling fake liquor

Transparent system has been implemented by the Government of Chhattisgarh by abolishing the FL-10 policy in the Excise Department and now holograms published from Nashik Press on the bottles of domestic and foreign liquor have been made compulsory so that the sale of fake liquor can be banned. The Chhattisgarh government has handed over the investigation of irregularities in the PSC-2021 examination to the CBI, in which the then chairman of the commission has been arrested. At the same time, investigation of Bharatmala Yojana and CGMSC scams has also been handed over to EOW, in which the guilty officers have been suspended. In this transparent action against corruption, action has also been taken on various level officials from IAS, IFS to state service.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has clearly stated that this scam took place during the tenure of the previous government, no convict will be spared in the scam. Now there is no place for corruption in the state, the purpose of our government is to give transparent, accountable and honest administration to the public.
