Teachers found on time will get opportunities to become Vice Chancellor from Chhattisgarh


The Governor and Chancellor Ramen Deka conducted a surprise inspection of Atal Bihari Bajpai University in Bilaspur on Friday. He told the Vice Chancellor and teachers of the university that the institute touched new heights in education and other activities as per the name of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Bajpai.

During the inspection, the Governor laid special emphasis on giving timely promotion to assistant professors. He said that if the professors get 10 years of experience, then the teachers of Chhattisgarh will also get a chance to become the Vice Chancellor.

Governor Deka spoke of improving the synergy between teachers and students and further strengthening the environment of studies. He inspected the administrative building and saw the functioning of the departments and inquired on the issues related to the staff. He also listened to the students and heard their problems and instructed the Vice Chancellor to solve.

Deka also talked about filling the posts of vacant teachers in the university soon and recalling the teachers sent on deputation. He asked to start new courses and take necessary steps to add more students. Along with this, instructions were given to fully implement the National Education Policy 2020.

During the inspection, Vice Chancellor Prof. Arun Diwakar Nath Bajpai, Under Secretary Archana Pandey, Divisional Commissioner Sunil Jain, Collector Sanjay Aggarwal, SSP Rajnesh Singh and District Panchayat CEO Sandeep Aggarwal were present.

Significantly, Governor Shri Deka is conducting surprise inspection of all the universities of Chhattisgarh for the success of the Prime Minister’s developed India Mission and the new education policy. In this episode, he visited Atal Bihari Bajpai University today.
