Z-shaped bridge, not one .. two-two bends of 90 degrees; Why is this bridge of Indore in discussion?

Bridge of Indore.

PWD is building a bridge in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, but it has come into the discussion before the inauguration. The reason is its design, which is in Z (Z) size. Although this bridge is being built to overcome the problem of traffic jam, but now many questions are being raised about it.

This bridge in Indore connects MR-4 to the Pollogound Industrial Area. Dangerous turn of 90 degrees has been given on the top height of this bridge. Due to which road accidents can occur. The first 90 degree angle is on the arm moving from Laxmibai Nagar via Bhagirathpura towards Polygound. The second 90 degree angle is being made from the Polo Ground to MR-4 side.

According to the information, the PWD did not survey the traffic and the width of the road properly. After the controversy, it is now believed that PWD is also considering the reshuffle in the design of the bridge. It is being told that the design of the bridge has been designed in such a way that the car will go to the pollogound from both sides and will return. This can cause people a lot of problems with this.

As soon as the design of this bridge came out, politics started on it. The Congress has now made many allegations against the BJP regarding the construction of the bridge. Congress leader Sajjan Singh Verma says that the manner in which the design of a bridge has been revealed in Indore after the Aishbagh Bridge in Bhopal, it seems to open the pole of corruption of the BJP. So, on the other hand, Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava says that in the whole case I will discuss with the officials of PWD and how it can be improved, further strategy will be made about it.

Indore bridge is 114 degrees

On the other hand, PWD Minister Rakesh Singh said in Bhopal- Regarding the questions raised on the bridge under construction in Indore, he said that the bridge which was described as Z shaped is not really Z shaped, nor its angle is 90 degrees. He clarified that Indore’s bridge is 114 degrees and its turning radius is kept 20 meters, which is completely safe under technical standards.

The minister said that the minimum limit of turning radius is 15 meters and it has been kept at 20 meters in Indore Bridge. According to the design, the speed limit has been fixed at 20 km per hour. Construction has been done keeping in mind the available land and safety standards. He said that there is a difference in presentation and authenticity and the public should not be misled by any misleading information.
