Warning of heavy rain in 31 districts of Madhya Pradesh today, alert from Gwalior-Chambal to Jabalpur


The monsoon in Madhya Pradesh has now come under full influence. Due to the influence of low pressure area around Jharkhand and the effect of monsoon Dronika passing through Uttar Pradesh, the state will continue to have strong rains and winds for the next two days. According to the Meteorological Department, this system is currently passing through the top parts of the state, due to which the weather is changing on a large scale.

Today, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Datia, Ashoknagar, Morena, Bhind, Sheopur, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Mauganj, Maihar, Shahdol, Umaria, Anuppur, Jabalpur, Katni, Narsinghpur, Sivoni, Chhindwara, Balaghata, Balaghata, Mandala and Dindhori districts It may rain.

Meteorologists Ajay Shukla said that heavy rains are expected at one or two of the districts under Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Rewa, Shahdol and Jabalpur divisions. Some districts of these divisions may receive heavy rains, while moderate rains will continue in the rest of the areas. Also, strong winds can also blow in these areas at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.

In other parts of Madhya Pradesh, there is a possibility of wind and intermittent rain at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, this situation will be more effective in eastern Madhya Pradesh at present and after the next two days this system can move towards northern Madhya Pradesh. Other districts including Bhopal, Hoshangabad and Vidisha will also be cloudy and light to moderate rain will continue.

From 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on Thursday, 65 mm in Gwalior, 63 mm in Rewa and 20 mm in Datia have recorded 20 mm rainfall. Apart from this, 12 mm of rain has been recorded in Khajuraho, 15 mm in Tikamgarh, 11 mm in Satna, 6 mm in Sagar, 6 mm in Umaria and 2 mm in Sidhi, while Jabalpur and Indore did not receive any rain during this period.
