Leave the tariff… Trump has created a stir in NASA, threatened the job of hundreds of employees

Trump is preparing to lay off NASA employees

In the US, there is a stir on business tariffs around the world as soon as Donald Trump became President again, now another big decision has created a stir. This time the target is America’s space agency NASA.

According to reports, the Trump administration is preparing to lay off more than 2,000 senior NASA employees, causing both the future of the agency and the US space strategy.

Experienced people will be removed from NASA

According to the report of Politico, the Trump administration is planning to remove 2,145 senior ranking employees. These are the people who come under GS-13 GS-15 grade i.e. technical or management experts. Many of these people have served NASA for decades. Out of these priests, about 1,818 employees are directly connected to the NASA’s main missions like Science, Human Spaceflight. The rest of the employees fulfill Mission Support like IT and administrative responsibilities.

Every center will affect

According to the report of Politico, this decision will have a direct impact on each of the total 10 major centers of NASA. The most cut will be made in Goddard Space Flight Center (Maryland), from where 607 employees will be removed. After this, 366 in Johnson Space Center (Texas), 311 in Kennedy Space Center (Florida), and 307 employees in NASA Headquarters (Washington) will have to be trimmed. Apart from this, 281 in Langley Research Center (Virginia), 279 in Marshall Space Flight Center (Alabama), and 191 employees in Glennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnic Center (Cleveland) are in danger.

Mission stops stopping

Under the Trump Sarkar scheme, Early Retirement, Byout and Deford Resignation are being resorted to. But the question is arising whether in the absence of such experienced people, NASA will be able to complete the spacecraft to be sent to its upcoming missions like moon and Mars in time and successfully?

NASA head chair also empty

Not only this, NASA is still working without its new administrator. The Trump administration suddenly withdrawn the nomination of billionaire Space Tourist Jared Isaacman, whose name was suggested by Allen Musk himself. It is believed that this decision was a political counter attack against Space X and Musk. While this new policy of Trump has come out under an attempt to reduce government spending, it can become a big threat on the future of NASA and the Space Superpower Image of America.
