Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday targeted terrorism from Brazil and those who supported it. He pointed to Pakistan and its evergreen friend China, saying that there is no place for double standards on terrorism. PM Modi said in a joint press conference after a delegation level conversation with Brazilian President Lewis Eneasio Lula de Silva that our thinking about not tolerating terrorism and not adopting double norms about it is the same.
Without naming a country, he said that India and Brazil strongly oppose terrorism and supporters. India has described Pakistan as the ‘global center of terrorism’.
Pakistan’s friend targeted China
PM Modi indirectly pointed to Pakistan’s evergreen friend China and said that there is no place for double standards in the case of terrorism. He thanked President Lula for solidarity and support after the Pahalgam terror attack in April.
Proud talk for 140 crore Indians
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that I want to thank my friend President Lula for our warm reception in Rio and Brasilia, for being honored with the ‘Grand Collar of the National Order of the National Order of the National Order of the Southern Cross’, the highest civilian honor of Brazil. It is a matter of pride for the President to provide me the highest honor of Brazil, not only for me but for 140 crore Indians.
Explain that this honor is given to those foreign dignitaries who have strengthened the relationship between Brazil and their country. This is considered an important achievement for India-Brazil relations.

He reported that the two leaders searched opportunities for cooperation in important minerals, new and emerging technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) and supercomputers, new areas of digital cooperation and dynamics. Jaiswal said that the two leaders set a bilateral trade target of US $ 20 billion in the next five years. After the conversation, both sides signed agreements to increase cooperation in many areas.
114 horses welcome from a unique parade
PM Modi, who arrived here on a state visit after attending the BRICS summit at Rio de Janeiro, said that his visit to Brazil will give momentum to bilateral relations. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi was given a grand formal reception with a unique parade of 114 horses at Alvorada Palace in Brasilia. He also saw an Indian classical hymn performance during his reception.
