Chief Minister (CM) Dr. Mohan Yadav (Mohan) has said that the state government is committed to the economic progress of farmers and cattle rearers by increasing milk production. Work is being done on the strategy of bringing 50 percent (50%of the villages) to the milk network. 9500 milk producers have been connected to the cooperative dairy system by forming new 381 milk cooperative societies.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was discussing with the decent officials of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Department at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday. It is noteworthy that Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah had given instructions to make more beneficial by making necessary amendments to implement the Dairy Development Scheme for Madhya Pradesh. Now work is being done to cover 72 percent of the potential potential of milk production in the state and increase the market access by 15 percent.

On this occasion, it was told that not only milk collection is increasing in the milk unions of the state, but the interest of farmers and milk producers is also being ensured. Milk values ​​have been increased in milk unions from two and a half rupees to six rupees per liter. There has been a significant increase in milk collection in two milk associations Jabalpur and Gwalior in the state. Working capital of two crore rupees has also been provided to Jabalpur and Gwalior Milk Association for pending payment of milk producers.
