India declared second innings, England got a target of 608 runs


With the century of captain Shubman Gill (161 runs), India declared 427 runs for six wickets on the fourth day of the second cricket Test here on Saturday and gave England a target of 608 runs to win.

Apart from Gill’s century for India, KL Rahul (55 runs), vice captain Rishabh Pant (65 runs) and Ravindra Jadeja (69 not out) scored half -centuries.

India started playing ahead of 64 runs for one wicket in the second innings in the morning.
