England defeated Indian women’s cricket team by five runs in third T20 match


England defeated the Indian women’s cricket team by five runs in the third match of the five -match series of five T20 matches played at The Oval ground in London.

Batting first, England scored 171 runs on the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Chasing this goal, Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma partnership for 81 runs for the first wicket.

Mandhana scored 56 runs, while Shefali Verma scored 47 runs.

But in 20 overs, the Indian team was able to score 166 runs on the loss of 5 wickets and lost the match by five runs.

However, the Indian team has managed to win the first two matches of the series. India is 2–1 ahead in the five-match series.

The next match of the series will be played on 9 July at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.
