Dhule railway station became a full green station
Indian Railways focuses on the environment along with increasing the convenience of its passengers. He is constantly working in this field to keep the environment balanced. Railways is advancing its steering through solar power energy. Dhule railway station of Maharashtra has become a third station to be fully green station in the state.
Giving information about solar power energy at Dhule station on its social media platform X, the Railways said that the Dhule railway station has become the third full green nectar station of Maharashtra after Devalali and Rayer. 47 KWP rooftop solar plants have been set up at Dhule station and this will produce about 68,620 units of solar energy annually.

Amrit also included in Bharat Station Scheme
Earlier, Indian Railways has decided to upgrade 22 railway stations including Dhule and Ahilyanagar in Nashik Division under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). Apart from these, 3 major stations (Bhusaval, Nashik Road and Amravati) have been selected for modernization by the Ministry of Railways.
In April, a senior official of Mandal Headquarters Bhusaval said, “Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the Central Railway has done Rs 460 crore work in 5 districts, some of which include stations of Bhusaval, Solapur and Nanded Division.”
10 crores will be spent on Dhule station
The upgraded railway stations will have many modern facilities including waiting lounge, food court, clean toilets, lift, escalators and digital facilities. Each station here has been prepared in separate Didins.
Manmad (Rs 45 crore), Badnera (Rs 36.3 crore), Ahilyanagar (Rs 31 crore), Shegaon (Rs 29 crore), Nandurbar (Rs 15 crore), Rotagaon (Rs 12 crore), Murtizapur (Rs 13 crore), Dhula (Rs 10.5 crore), Dhulat (Rs 10.5 crore) will be done in important railway stations being upgraded. Not only this, large -scale redevelopment works are also being done at Nashik Road, Bhusaval and Igatpuri railway stations.
