AAP’s Delhi Pradesh President Saurabh Bhardwaj has targeted the BJP for the decision to remove old trains in Delhi. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the BJP’s poll, which is making excuses for the court order, has been exposed. He attacked that in February, the BJP government was sworn in and a few days later on July 1, Environment Minister Manjind Singh Sarkar had to make this announcement.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the CAQM whose order is resorting to the order, that order came on April 27 only after the announcement of the minister. Saurabh Bhardwaj alleged that the BJP had already colluded with automobile companies. This decree was issued to benefit crores of rupees.
61 lakh people forced to buy a new car
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that this order of the Delhi government will force 61 lakh people of the capital to buy a new train. The AAP leader said that the people of Delhi have forced to withdraw many Tughlaq decree of the BJP government through their solidarity. He said that now when the BJP’s pole opened, the environment minister of the Delhi government Manjinder Singh Sirsa wrote a letter to CAQM that the government will not be able to ban diesel-petrol to the old vehicles. Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa had to come forward himself.
BJP is making excuses for court order
Saurabh Bhardwaj alleged that the BJP is making excuses for the court order. The truth is that the National Green Tribunal issued an order on 7 April 2015 for the first time on 7 April 2015 for banning old trains. Similarly, 10 years ago, the Supreme Court ordered on 15 April 2015. From 2015 to 2025, there was a government of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. AAP government never issued any decree for not giving petrol to old vehicles. But within five months of coming to the BJP government, banned from giving petrol diesel.
Accused of collusion with CAQM
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that on 23 April 2025, a letter was taken by the BJP’s Delhi government for not giving diesel-petrol to the old trains and the government imposed a ban by the government. This Tughlaqi decree was imposed on the people of Delhi with the connivance of CAQM and Delhi government of BJP directly. Efforts were made on their behalf to sell new millions of trains.
