Many cases of corruption are coming up in Madhya Pradesh these days. Recently, the minister of the state, Sampatiya Uike was accused of bribery of 1 thousand crores. Now the case of another corruption has come to light. This time, a huge disturbance has been exposed in the repair work done in government schools of Beauhari assembly constituency of Shahdol district.
168 laborers and 65 royal masons were shown for painting of only 4 liters of oil paint in the government high school of village Sakandi in Shahdol district. It was also paid, the amount of which is being said to be ₹ 1,06,984. A bill of this entire work is becoming fiercely viral on social media these days.
Similarly, 275 laborers and 150 mistry have been shown in the Government Higher Secondary School in Nipania Village to paint 20 liters of paint, put 10 windows and fitting of 4 doors. In lieu of this, a total amount of ₹ 2,31,685 has been withdrawn.
Documents disturbances
All this work has been done under the maintenance item. Interestingly, the bill was prepared by Sudhakar Construction, the bill -making agency on 5 May 2025, but the school principal verified the same bill on 4 April 2025, ie a month ago. This one month discrepancy has shaken the foundation of the whole matter.
Photograph disappeared, yet paid
According to the government rules, before and after the maintenance works have to be mandated with the bill, but in both cases neither any photographs were attached, nor any clear information was given about the work. Despite this, the Treasury Officer passed the payment.
Officials said: Will be investigated
In this whole case, when the question was asked from District Education Officer Phool Singh Marapachi, he said, this matter has come to my cognizance through social media. I will take necessary action soon and take necessary action.
