Due to his wife’s relationship with non -male, a husband committed suicide by hanging himself and has held the mother -in -law, wife and brother -in -law, sister -in -law. Before the suicide, the young man also wrote the names of many people, referring to harassment of WhatsApp status. In fact, the incident is from Ghampur police station area of Madhya Pradesh Jabalpur where 32 -year -old Mayank Sharma, a young man, wrote on the status before the suicide that wife Sali and brother -in -law are responsible for my suicide. At present, on the complaint of family members, the police have registered a case and started investigating the entire case.
According to the information received from the police, the deceased Mayank Sharma was married to a girl named Deeksha Sharma in 2017. After marriage, everything was fine for a few days, but later Deeksha had a love affair with a young man named Sanjay Sahu. When Mayank came to know about this, he opposed it, then angry wife Deeksha filed an FIR of dowry system i.e. domestic violence against husband Mayank. Angry after the FIR was registered on 17 April, Mayank tried to commit suicide by consuming poison, but was saved in time. Troubled by the persistent wife’s harassment and threats, on July 2, Mayank committed suicide by consuming poison once again.
Was mentally upset
Actually, this case is one of the incidents in which the emotional, mental and legal pain of men is revealed. Violence and oppression have been formed against women over years, which is also necessary. But the lack of the same sensitivity is seen in the cases of men. This case of Mayank states that men are also being mentally and socially tortured. But often their problems are ignored by molding them into the image of being “men”.
Wife threatened to send jail
Many times women make men and their families mentally weakened by allegations of false domestic violence, dowry or molestation. Police and judicial system need a fair investigation in such cases. Before committing suicide, the names written by Mayank in WhatsApp status are directly bringing out his mental state and pressure. This is not only a family dispute, but the life of a person is to end. The society now needs to understand that the victim is not only a woman, it can also be a man.
Husband being victims of harassment
Every relationship goes on with mutual respect, faith and understanding. Hearing of one side, blaming the other cannot be justice. Along with this, police administration and social institutions should also provide counseling, helpline and legal assistance of men in such cases. Also, strict legal action should be taken on false cases so that such laws are not misused.
