The Governor and Chancellor Raman Deka today gave strict instructions for the improvement of administrative system by conducting a surprise inspection of Kushabhau Thackeray Journalism and Jan Communication University Raipur.
Governor Shri Deka inspected the administrative building of the university. Instructed the building to do hi -tech according to the students. After this, the meeting was taken from the Vice Chancellor and Professors about the activities of the university. He expressed displeasure over the slow admission process in the university. Instructed to increase the entry of students by increasing courses conducted in the university.
Mr. Deka inquired about the teaching and other staff working in the university during the inspection. The professors there are posted at other places. Teaching staff deficiency is affecting studies. Shri Deka has directed to immediately recall professors posted at other places.
He said that studies, teaching facilities should be ensured according to the grand structure of the university. Also directed to overcome the lack of transport facility for visiting the university. Permanent registrar is not appointed in the university, for this, Higher Education Department was asked to write a letter.
Shri Deka asked the University Executive Council and Vidya Parishad to organize a proposal for organizing necessary amendments in the Act for regularly and for smooth operation. Also instructed to ensure correct use of RUSA funds.
Vice Chancellor Mahadev Kavre, Deputy Secretary to the Governor, Mrs. Hina Animesh Netam, Under Secretary Anubhav Sharma and other officials of the university were present during the inspection.
