The PM described the friendship of both countries as sweet to Ghana’s famous pineapple. Many members arrived in Indian dress to hear PM’s address in Ghana. Its purpose was to showcase the solidarity of India and Ghana.

Development is not possible without giving voice to Global South

Earlier, while addressing Ghana’s Parliament, Prime Minister Modi said that development is not possible without giving voice to Global South. Prime Minister Modi said that the world is also facing complex crises like climate change, terrorism, epidemic and cyber security. PM Modi said that India worked with the perspective of One Earth, One Family, One Future under the chairmanship of G20. India remains a big partner in the development journey of Africa. Africa’s goals are India’s priorities. Our approach is to develop equally. Ghana is a land that is full of democracy, dignity and flexibility.

He said, India provided vaccines and medicines to more than 150 countries including Ghana during the Korona period. We have seen a big change in the last decade. The people of India have shown their faith in peace, security and development. India is known as Pharmacy of the World. Today, the daughters of India are pioneers in science, space, aviation and sports.
