India NCAP testing criteria
In safety testing done by India NCAP, cars are tested in two major categories:
- Adult Occupant Protection (AOP)
- Child Occupant Protection (COP)
Maximum marks for each category are 32 and 49 respectively. This rating is given keeping in mind the structure of cars, airbags, child seat arguments and crash performance.
