Tent fell due to strong wind in Bageshwar Dham, one killed and 10 injured


In a tragic accident in the world famous Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur district, a devotee died due to falling tent in a tragic accident on Thursday morning. While 10 others were injured. The incident took place at around 7 am after Aarti, when devotees gathered under the tent to avoid rain with strong winds.

The deceased has been identified as Shyamlal Kaushal, a resident of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. His son -in -law Rajesh Kumar Kaushal said that he died on the spot due to an iron angle coming out of the tent in Shyamlal’s head. Rajesh Kumar Kaushal himself and other family members, including Soumya, Parul and Unnati, 3 to 4 people have been injured in this accident. All the injured have been admitted to Chhatarpur District Hospital.

Devotee dies due to head injury

During this time, a devotee died on the spot due to injury to the head in an iron road planted to erect the tent. At the same time, other injured have been immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, in which the condition of some is said to be critical. The Administration and Dham Management Committee started immediate relief and rescue operations. Police and ambulance teams arrived on the spot and controlled the situation.
Gadha village was decorated for Dhirendra Shastri’s birthday

On July 4, thousands of devotees from abroad will gather at Bageshwar Dham located in Chhatarpur district of Bundelkhand. Because July 4 is the birthday of Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham and special religious events will be held from July 4 to Gurpurnima. Dham is being decorated beautifully. Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri will set up a divine court of Balaji from July 1 to July 3.

The birth anniversary of Bageshwar Maharaj will be celebrated on 4 July. More than 50 thousand devotees of the country and abroad are expected to gather for Guru Purnima and Birthday. Preparations have started in Garha village for this event. On Tuesday, devotees started reaching Dham.

The devotees will get the devotees and will initiate thousands of devotees and disciples under the Gurudiksha Festival to be held on July 7 and 8 at Gurmantradham. Chakresh Sullare, in -charge of the initiation event on behalf of Bageshwar Dham Jan Seva Samiti, said that preparations were being made for the Gurudiksha Festival for a long time. Here the local police and administration have also become alert about the Guru Purnima festival. Because crowds may increase in Gadha village.

Bageshwar Dham came from Ayodhya

Rajesh said that he had reached Bageshwar Dham from Ayodhya on Wednesday night with 6 members of his family. Friday is the birthday of Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Shastri of Dham and he arrived to see him on Thursday morning. Dr. Naresh Tripathi of the district hospital said that the deceased was brought from Bageshwar Dham and the family has said that the accident occurred due to falling tent. The police have started investigating the case by sending the body for postmortem.

The rain water was filled in the shed

At the time of the accident, a person present on the spot told that we were all standing near the stage, it was raining. In such a situation, we came to the tent to avoid water. The tent fell down after filling the water. This caused a stampede and about 20 people were buried under the tent. The accident happened before the birthday of Baba Bageshwar Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, in which one devotee died and 4 people were injured.
