Chief Minister (CM) Vishnu Dev Sai (SAI) held a high -level review meeting on the availability of fertilizers and seeds in view of the upcoming Kharif season at the Ministry Mahanadi Bhavan today. Directing the officials, Chief Minister Sai said that farmers should be continuously supplied to farmers in the state.
The Chief Minister specifically asked to encourage the use of NPK fertilizer in place of DAP and asked the farmers to inform them about its benefits. Shri Sai directed to monitor the availability and distribution of fertilizer and distribution in district -wise cooperatives through collectors.
Chief Minister Sai said that this time of farming and farming is very important for farmers. If at this time there is any kind of obstruction in the supply of fertilizer and seeds, it will directly affect the sowing and production of crops. He directed the officials that farmers should have sufficient amount of manure on time and at a reasonable rate.
He said that NPK fertilizer is also being arranged in the committees, take immediate steps towards providing it to the farmers. Expressing deep concern over the sale of non -standard and fake manure, he directed that immediate strict action should be taken on such cases.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary Rahul Bhagat, Agriculture Production Commissioner Shehla Nigar, Director Krishihaul Dev and Markfed officials and employees were present in the meeting.
