Chief Minister (CM) Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is giving all the support to the players with the aim of increasing the participation of Madhya Pradesh in International Sports Competitions and (&) achievements of Madhya Pradesh.
Players of Madhya Pradesh should participate in maximum number in all international sports competitions including Olympics to be held in Los Angeles in 2028 and bring a large number of medals, with this target, sports activities are being conducted in the state. The state government is continuously working for the expansion of sports infrastructure in the state, along with excellent training, other assistance and incentives are being provided to the players. The state government is ready to provide all possible support to the Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the annual meeting of Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association in Jabalpur from the Chief Minister’s residence. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya Virtuali attended the meeting. Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajaura and Additional Chief Secretary Sports and Youth Kalyan Manu Srivastava were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association has been working continuously in the field of sports since the year 1952, ie 73 years. The 38th National Sports of Madhya Pradesh was excellent in Uttarakhand and the state finished third for the first time. The infrastructure of sports in Madhya Pradesh is moving at a fast pace.
There are more than 22 hockey astroturfs in Madhya Pradesh and there are 15 athletic tracks, which are not in any state in the country. There are 18 Excellence Academy in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated and congratulated all the officials of the Olympic Association. Officials of the Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association were present in the meeting held in Jabalpur.
