Indian intelligence agency Raw has got a new boss. The new Chief Parag Jain of the Research Analysis Wing (RAW) has been made. Parag Jain is an 1889 batch IPS officer of Punjab cadre. His tenure will be two years as Raw Chief. He will replace Ravi Sinha, whose term is ending on June 30. Parag Jain is currently leading the Aviation Research Center. He is considered an expert of Pakistan’s affairs.

The research center played an important role by gathering intelligence about the Pakistani Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor. Jain has previously been the SSP of Chandigarh and has also served as Indian representatives in Canada and Sri Lanka. Parag Jain has been posted in Jammu and Kashmir. He has played an important role in the anti-terrorism strategy in the struggling union territory. He will take over Sinha on Monday.

Raw was established on 21 September 1968. The first Chief of this institution was RN Kav. Raw is the most important thing to find out if there is a conspiracy against India abroad. Apart from this, it also executes secret mission. The in -charge of Raw himself is the Prime Minister. Raw Chief gives his daily report to the National Security Advisor.
