Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is going to organize a special flash cell soon for its customers. In this flash cell, users are expected to get many benefits like free data, broadband deals and huge discounts. BSNL has shared the teaser of this upcoming cell on its official X (first Twitter) handle.
BSNL Flash Sale: “Something bigger is coming”
Posting a video teaser, BSNL wrote, “Something bigger is going to come! Are you ready for an unaccounted experience?” However, the company has not yet disclosed the exact date of the cell. The post only has “Coming Soon” written, which has increased curiosity in customers.
The company has also asked the users what they guess about the offers received in the cell. According to the teaser, BSNL users are expected to get free internet data, affordable broadband plans and huge discounts in this flash cell.
BSNL’s new strategy amid a decline in customer base
BSNL’s Flash Sale is coming out at a time when the company is facing a steady decline in its customer base. According to TRAI’s latest telecom data, in April 2025, BSNL’s number of active customers declined by about 1.8 million. At the same time, the total telecom subscription in India has also decreased by 0.2 million.
For BSNL, this flash cell is not just a marketing event but also a re-positioning move, so that it can attract existing and potential customers towards his services.
5G service launch and new facilities
To give customers a better experience, BSNL has recently launched many new BSNL Flash Sale. Earlier this month, the company has launched its 5G network in India under the name Q-5G (Quantum 5G). The name reflects BSNL’s fast and Future-Reddy Network.
