The AATS team of southwest district arrested an illegal Bangladeshi citizen from Vasant Kunj. The person had been living in Delhi for the last 15 years and was using fake Indian documents of an acquaintance. He first told himself to be from Bengal, but during interrogation he admitted to being a Bangladeshi. He has now been handed over to FRRO to send him back to Bangladesh.
The accused was living in Delhi for the last 15 years. On the basis of fake Indian documents of a Bangladeshi acquaintance, he was working in different parts of Delhi. At present, the police has presented him before the FRRO to send him to Bangladesh, from where he will be sent back. Deputy Commissioner of Police Amit Goyal said that the team raided and arrested him on the information of illegal Bangladeshi citizen in Vasant Kunj area.
Bengal Of By telling Made Base Card And Driving License
- The accused first described himself as a citizen of Bengal. Showed India’s Aadhaar card and driving license.
- The Aadhaar card Barachand Ghar was named after Mohammad Rohit Sheikh from North Para, District Nadia, Bengal.
- In strict interrogation, he admitted to being Bangladeshi. He told that he had entered India illegally and entered India 15 years ago.
- A copy of his Bangladeshi national identity card at the address of Brahmin Chiran, Post-Wari, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh and a copy of Bangladesh’s passport was also recovered from the accused Ohid.
- After completing legal formalities, it has been handed over to the Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
