The dates of the much awaited monsoon session 2025 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly have been officially announced. The session will start from July 28 and will run till 8 August. This session will be of 12 days, but there will be a holiday on Saturday and Sunday, so the proceedings of the House will last for 10 days.
Assembly Secretariat issued notification
In this regard, the State Assembly Secretariat has released official information. According to the news, during this session, important work such as the question -answer session question -session, and questions of MLAs will be dealt with. MLAs can ask their questions through online and offline during this period.
MP Vidhan Sabha: Chief Minister discussed, approval from governor
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had met Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar at his residence before fixing the date of MP Vidhan Sabha. The session related topics were discussed in the meeting. After this, the notification was issued with the permission of the Governor.
10 meetings will be asked in session, department wise questions will be asked
There will be a total of 10 meetings in this 12 -day session. MLAs have been given time to submit their questions by 11 July. During the session (MP Vidhan Sabha), different dates will be answered by questions related to different departments. This increases the possibility of intensive discussion on various issues in the House.
MP Vidhan Sabha: Government will present supplementary budget
The government will also present supplementary budget for the approval of the House during the monsoon session. This budget will be brought for approval of additional expenditure during the current financial year.
Opposition will get a chance to attack
This monsoon session (MP Vidhan Sabha) can prove to be a major platform for opposition parties including Congress. There is a possibility that the opposition will formulate a strategy to surround the state’s BJP government on unemployment, law and order, power crisis, farmers’ problems and other burning issues.
