Metro service will start soon in Bhopal, CM made a big announcement from Indore


Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made a big announcement in Indore on 25 June and said that the metro train will be started in Bhopal from October 2025. Metro service has already started in Indore, and now the capital Bhopal will also be linked with this facility of modern transport. CM said, “This gift is going to be found in Bhopal too soon. I have come by giving invitation.”

Work on railway project worth one lakh crore continues

CM Mohan Yadav informed that work is going on on railway projects worth about 1 lakh crore rupees in Madhya Pradesh. This is not only the metro (Bhopal Metro update) but also high speed and med-in-India trains like Vande Bharat Express. He also indicated that in future, bullet train in the state may also be seen running at a speed of 300 kmph.

Bhopal Metro Update: Bhopal Metro will first start on this route

In the first phase of the Bhopal Metro project, the metro service will be started on the 7 km long corridor between AIIMS to Subhash Nagar. Commercial runs on this route will start from October 2025. This root will work to connect the busiest areas of the city.

Bhopal metro network will spread over 30 kilometers

The network of Bhopal Metro Update will be 30.9 km long. Its first line will be 16.74 km between AIIMS to Karond. There will be 13.35 kilometers (above) and 3.39 kilometers (below) underground part. A second line is proposed from Ratnagiri to Bhadbhada.
