CBSE approved the criteria for conducting (TWICE) Class 10th Class Board Examination (BORARD exam) twice in the year from 2026. This information has been given by the Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj.
CBSE will conduct class 10 board examinations twice a year. The first phase will be held in February and the second phase will be held in May. It is mandatory for students of class 10 to appear in the first phase of board examination, the second phase will be optional. Internal evaluation will be done only once. After this decision, students will get a chance to improve their marks.
If a student’s marks are less in the first phase, then he will be able to improve by performing well in the second phase. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has approved the criteria to conduct board examination twice a year for class 10th, which is a step recommended in the new National Education Policy (NEP).
