Large updates on Pahalgam Attack, two accused who sheltered terrorists arrested


The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has achieved great success in the case of Pahalgam terror attack. The NIA has arrested two people. These people are accused of sheltering the terrorists. 26 innocent tourists were killed and 16 were seriously injured in this attack. NIA said that the names of the arrested accused are Parvez Ahmed Jothar and Bashir Ahmed Jothar.

Parvez is a resident of Batatte in Pahalgam. At the same time, Bashir lives in Hill Park in Pahalgam. Both told the NIA that three terrorists involved in the attack were Pakistani. He was associated with a terrorist organization called Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Parvez and Bashir gave shelter to terrorists

According to the NIA, ‘Parvez and Bashir deliberately hid the three terrorists in a seasonal hut (Dhok) in Hill Park before the attack.’ Investigations have revealed that both of them had given the terrorists to eat, live and other help.

On April 22, militants from Pakistan opened fire on tourists in the Basaron Valley of Pahalgam. 26 people were killed and 16 were injured in this attack. This attack was very sad and shook everyone. The terrorists had killed tourists on the basis of their religious identity. This attack was very terrible.

Action under these sections

The NIA has arrested both the accused under Section 19 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. NIA is further investigating the case (RC-02/2025/NIA/JMU). The case was registered after the attack which shook the whole world.

In this case, the NIA is closely investigating every aspect. The aim of NIA is to punish all the culprits involved in this attack. NIA is also trying to find out who helped these terrorists. This success of NIA is expected to help prevent further attacks.
