Cantt police station arrested three drug traffickers from a car parked near the old toll building late on Friday night. 5.100 kg of cannabis has been recovered from his possession, who bought and brought them to sell. The arrested drug addicts are residents of Gwalior and Morena. The police have registered a case against the accused in the NDPS Act.

Ganja worth one lakh recovered

On searching, five kg 100 grams of hemp was recovered in a cartoon kept in the car, which has been priced at one lakh rupees. The police seized the hemp and the car and arrested the three accused. In connection with the hemp, during interrogation, the said Ganja Bhura resident of village Daurana was asked to buy and take it to sell.

Mohna police station caught hemp smuggler

Mohna police station has arrested the ganja smuggler. 1.20 kg of hemp has been recovered from him. He makes ganja pudiya and sells it in the area. Thatipur police station area

Rinku Gaur (32), a resident of Bhimnagar, was caught with 431 grams of ganja at 3 pm on Friday afternoon. The price of the recovered cannabis has been estimated at around 6 thousand rupees.

Janakganj police station area

Anil Kushwaha (23), a resident of Taraganj, was arrested from near the Panchmukhi Hanuman temple, Gol Pahadia intersection at 10 pm on Friday night. 177 grams of hemp was recovered from him, which has been worth about 2 thousand rupees.

Network detection inquiry continues

CSP Nagendra Singh Sikarwar said that the police are now trying to find out where these consignments were being brought and who were supplied to the local level. Police believe that this may be a case related to an organized racket.

Investigation intensified to reach suppliers

According to police officials, many layers of cannabis smuggling network can open through this action. The names of other smugglers and main suppliers are expected to appear in the inquiry. The police is now gathering information about the series of cannabis supply and its consumption.
