DGCA instructions to remove three serious careless officers

Action has been taken after the horrific plane crash accident in Ahmedabad on June 12. India’s Civil Aviation Regulatory organization DGCA has asked Air India to immediately remove three officers (Officers) due to Negligence found in the recent Ahmedabad aircraft accident.

The order came only a few days after the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed as soon as he flew from Sadar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, in which more than 270 people died. Immediate action has been ordered against three senior officials of Air India after severe and repeated violations related to flight crew scheduling.

These flaws mentioned by the airline showed that the flight crew was scheduled and operated despite not completing compulsory licensing, rest and recycation norms. During the intensive investigation after this crash, DGCA has asked three Air India officials to suspend immediately. In view of the seriousness of security violations, DGCA directed Air India to immediately dismiss the guilty employees.

Air India’s Dreamliner, going from Ahmedabad towards London, collided with the hostel of the BigJ Medical College shortly after the takeoff. In this accident, 241 out of 242 persons aboard the plane died. Only one person survived. Apart from this, at least 29 people were killed on the ground. DNA matching continues to identify bodies.
