A sudden fire broke out late at night in a bank in Pratapganj Para in Jagdalpur city. As soon as the matter came to know about the case, the team of police and fire brigade also reached the spot. The goods kept inside the bank were burnt in the fire. The fire brigade’s team managed to control the fire after hours of hard work.
The Kotwali police station in -charge said that between 11 and 12 o’clock in the night, the police received information that smoke was seen coming out suddenly from Union Bank at Pratapganj Para. There was a stir among the people living around the bank over the incident. People nearby also informed the fire brigade to extinguish the fire.
The fire was controlled by the fire brigade team after the rescue operation that lasted for more than 2 hours. In this incident, millions of goods kept inside the bank were gutted. The case is being investigated.
