Organizing a seminar on the topic ‘Emerging Chhattisgarh in the national scenario’

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai attended the 14th Foundation Day celebrations of Dainik New Pradesh today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister while addressing the seminar organized on the subject of ‘Emerging Chhattisgarh in the national scenario’ said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is on the path of continuous progress. In the year 2014, where India was economically in the world, it has reached the fourth place today, and soon we are moving towards third place. Keeping in mind the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047, a vision document and a new industrial policy has been prepared for the developed Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Sai greeted her heartfelt greetings on the 14th anniversary of the daily new Pradesh. He said that we are celebrating the silver birth anniversary of Chhattisgarh. I had the privilege that I directly saw and experienced the historic discussion on the Bill on Business Building Chhattisgarh as an MP in Parliament. I have seen the problems of starvation in the state due to coming from a tribal family. The PDS system implemented in 2003 led by Dr. Raman Singh liberated Chhattisgarh from this serious problem.

The Chief Minister said that 15 medical colleges are being operated in the state today. Higher education institutions like IIT, IIM and National Law University have been established in Chhattisgarh. Prosperity has increased in the state and education and health services have reached the common man.

Chief Minister Sai said that the new industrial policy has received positive response from entrepreneurs. The state has received an investment proposal of about 6.5 lakh crore rupees. Work has started in the field of semiconductor chips and artificial intelligence. The state has also received heavy investment proposals in the energy sector.

He said that on the one hand the government is providing government jobs to the youth, on the other hand, emphasis is also being laid on providing employment in the private sector through skilling. The provision of Bispok policy in the new industrial policy is an important initiative in employment generation.

The Chief Minister said that there has been a continuous increase in irrigation area in Chhattisgarh. Recently, Bodhghat project was discussed with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during his stay in Delhi. With this project, farmers of Bastar zone will get plenty of irrigation water. Along with this, work has also been started on the interlinking project of Indravati and Mahanadi, which will increase the irrigation area to 7 lakh hectares. He said that Bastar is now in the mainstream of development. Where the sounds of gunfire were heard, now the bells of schools are echoing. Dhudarasa has received international recognition in the tourism sector by the United Nations.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that in the last 25 years, Chhattisgarh has proved that development is not only from the area or population, but by the use of resources and willing power. Today the financial condition of the state has strengthened. The Bhilai Steel Plant of Chhattisgarh has been used iron in the recently revealed Chenab bridge by the Prime Minister.

He said that Chhattisgarh has become a leading state in all major areas like steel, cement, energy today. There has been significant progress in the power infrastructure of the state. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Sai, paddy is being procured at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, 70 lakh mothers and sisters are being given assistance of Rs 1,000 per month.

Chief Minister Shri Sai honored the specific people who made a notable contribution in the society on this occasion. Those who received the honors include Padmashree Mrs. Shamshad Begum, Editor of Cartoon Watch Mr. Trimbak Sharma, Sports Journalist Mr. Nitesh Chhabra, Senior Journalist Mr. Jeevan S Sahu (Gariaband) and Mr. Yashwant Rajwade (New State Bureau Chief, Korea).

He also provided scholarships to the children of Hawker family under the Nav Pradesh Scholarship Scheme 2025-26. Senior journalist Padmashri Shri Alok Mehta sent a happy foundation day to Nav Pradesh through video message. Editor of New Pradesh Shri Yashwant Dhote expressed his gratitude at the end of the program.

On this occasion, a large number of dignitaries including Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant, Editor -in -Chief of Haribhoomi, Mr. Himanshu Dwivedi, Raipur Press Club President Mr. Prafulla Thakur were present in large numbers.
