The tension between Israel and Iran is increasing. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Iran would have to pay a huge price for the attack on Israel’s citizens. Netanyahu made this statement when he reached the city of Butt Yam near Tel Aviv on Sunday morning, where Iran attacked with missiles. Seven people were killed and dozens of others were injured in this attack.
The Prime Minister’s Office quoted Netanyahu in a statement as saying, Iran has deliberately killed citizens, women and children. For this, he will have to pay a very heavy price. We will achieve our goals and answer them with great force. Israel started Operation Rising Lion on Friday, aims to target Iran’s nuclear, missiles and military bases. In response, Iran carried out missile attacks on Israel, in which some missiles collided with middle Israel buildings. In a separate event, four people died in Tamra, the northern Arabs town of Israel. With this, the total number of people who died has increased to 14 since the operation started. Israel says that this campaign is being run with the aim of preventing Iran from gaining nuclear capacity and thwarting its missile development program. Dozens of people were injured in the attack on the city Rahovot, but there were no casualties.
Netanyahu said, “We are here because we are in the crisis of existence and now it is understood by every Israeli.” Think what would have happened if Iran had had nuclear weapons, it could have dropped on the cities of Israel. Think that if Iran had 20 thousand missiles, not one but 20 thousand. This is a threat to the existence of Israel. So we have started a liberation war against the danger of this destruction and we are doing it with strength. Our soldiers, pilots are above the sky of Iran. He advised the citizens to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command (Unit of the Israeli Army) during the Iranian missile attacks. Meanwhile, Israel Defense Force (IDF) spokesperson Brigadier General Effi Dafarin said at a press conference that there is a possibility of more ballistic missile attacks from Iran in the coming days. He said, the coming days will be challenging. More missiles will be fired and attacks in the coming days. He also informed that Israeli Air Force (in Iran) continues continuing attacks.
He further said, at this time we are attacking dozens of goals in Tehran. We (of Iran) are causing more damage to nuclear programs and military capabilities, so that the Home Front can be protected from danger. In a post on X, the IDF said that Iran is targeting civilian population, on the contrary Israel is trying to avoid damaging Iranian citizens.
He said, we send this message to Iranian citizens. Where Iran chooses to attack without warning, we prefer to warn innocent people. We warn them through many means in Persian language, because human life comes first for us. This is the difference between us and our enemy.
