Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer Rs 1,551.44 crore as 25th installment of Ladli Bahna Yojana in accounts of 1.27 crore beneficiaries during an event in Jabalpur on Monday (June 16). Under this scheme, every eligible woman gets Rs 1,250 per month in their bank accounts. This popular scheme was introduced during the tenure of former Chief Minister and current Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan before the assembly elections in 2023. Recently, while addressing an event in Sehore in the presence of Shivraj Chauhan, Mohan Yadav announced that the Madhya Pradesh government was considering to increase the monthly installment of ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’ to Rs 3,000.
In addition to transferring funds for the above mentioned schemes, the Chief Minister will also transfer Rs 150 crore to 6,821 underprivileged families during Jabalpur program. Apart from this, he will also transfer Rs 39.14 crore to more than 27 lakh beneficiaries for LPG cylinder refilling. Sambal Yojana is another popular scheme to assist laborers in Madhya Pradesh, under which the government provides lump sum financial assistance every year.
Under this scheme, Rs 2 lakh is given on permanent disability and Rs 1 lakh on partial permanent disability. Apart from this, Rs 5,000 is given for the funeral. Apart from this, women workers are given Rs 16,000 as maternity aid.
Apart from lump sum financial assistance, the government also carries full tuition fees for higher education of children of workers. During this time, the Chief Minister will transfer Rs 341 crore to the accounts of 56.68 lakh beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme. On this occasion, he will also inaugurate various development projects in Jabalpur and Bhumi Pujan. The event to be held in Bargi in Jabalpur district will include Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Singh Patel and many other ministers.
