The monsoon knock in Chhattisgarh has been held in Bastar 15 days ago, but it is stuck there. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon air will get favorable conditions to move beyond Bastar around 14 June. If the monsoon gets the right speed to increase, it will reach Raipur after June 15. With this, good rainfall is expected in many districts of Central Chhattisgarh.
However, a new monsoon system is going to be built in North Gulf of Bengal around June 14. This system will reach Rajasthan via Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and MP. According to the Meteorological Department, for the next two to three days, 20 districts of the state will be affected by rain and strong wind and thunderstorms. There will also be rain in parts of Bastar, Raipur, Durg and Bilaspur and Surguja divisions. Yellow alert has been issued in 15 districts. The Meteorological Department will continuously release updated information. The four districts of Bastar division are Orange Alert.
